Here is a breakdown of the AI Film News from the video.
Microsoft's VASA 1 - Microsoft just released a tool that gives you the ability to animate an image and infuse it with realistic emotions to match the lipsync. This is similar to EMO, but the demos are significantly better. It can turn animations into realistic visuals. If you have a minute, do yourself a favor and watch these demos.
Adobe's AI Integrations - Adobe just announced some brilliant AI updates to their video editing software. Here's a quick breakdown of the new features coming:
Video Inpainting - Some of their examples don't look the most realistic, but it's hard to judge with a limited number of demos and without using it ourselves.
Object Removal - The examples they showed were pretty astounding. Adobe definitely seems to compete with the best of the best when it comes to removing objects inside of videos.
Scene Extension - Adobe showed two examples in their demo of scene extension; one was phenomenal, while the other was nothing above average. It may be difficult to tell the quality until we get our hands on the tool.
AI Video Generator Integration - Adobe is working on giving you the ability to have your AI video generator of choice integrated into Premiere Pro. This will be interesting, as there is nothing like this currently available.
All in all, the takeaway from these updates is that workflows will become faster than ever for AI filmmakers once these new features are released. The downside? Well, they won't be released until late this year.
AI eSports Tournament - Last week, we hosted the first-ever AI eSports tournament at the HyperX Arena. We had a blast and are so grateful to everyone who came to join us. There are even talks about starting an AI eSports league. That sounds fun, who's in?
Another ChatGPT Killer - Meta just released their newest LLM, and wow, it is brilliant! We ran a little test on our webshow to see which one was more creative, Meta AI or ChatGPT. ChatGPT thought Meta was! We are curious to start using this new tool in our workflows to see how it compares.

Video2Game - This new code can literally take a video input and turn it into a video game. It quite literally turns your video into a virtual reality. Some of the examples even showed the ability to manipulate objects in the environment, similar to PhysGaussian we highlighted a few weeks ago.
