Create a Fireball in After Effects

In this After Effects video tutorial I'll show you how to create a fireball. This tutorial uses 100% native plugins and effects, but you will need to download a free fireball effects preset from RocketStock.com.

The secret to this tutorial is getting the fractals right. A lot of online tutorials use blurs to create their fire effects, but I found that using fractal noise and turbulent displace you can better simulate realistic fire.
