Welcome to Episode 13 of The Curious Refuge Podcast. Our guest today has had a major impact on the world of Animation and Storytelling helping to usher in the second golden age of animation while mentoring alongside legends from the first, Rob Minkoff directed films such as The Lion King, Stuart Little, The Haunted Mansion, Mr. Peabody and Sherman, and most recently Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank.
He worked as an animator for films such as The Black Cauldron, the Great Mouse Detective, The Brave Little Toaster, and The Little Mermaid. He also learned first-hand under some of the greatest animators of all time including Chuck Jones and Eric Larson. Rob is now innovating as a storyteller, exploring the possibilities of using AI as a creative tool to help streamline the storytelling process.
